~Product Review~ Ancient Secrets Growth Oil

Hey loves! As promised, here is my review of the Ancient Secrets Growth Oil.

Before returning to my natural state, I wore lots of braids, glue-in weave styles, and sew-ins. Needless to say, these styles caused my edges to thin over the years.

In May 2012, upon deciding to wear my own hair after a 24 month transition, I noticed my edges were damaged and needed some TLC, more so than the rest of my tresses. So I began to wear protective styles. I used a mixture of t-tree and peppermint oil on my scalp and my edges for about 2 months. Then I heard about the miraculous JBCO….I HAD to try it!

I used it mixed with my peppermint and t-tree oil. I saw some growth but not enough for me to continue to purchase it.

Recently, I read about Ancient Secrets Growth Oil. The ingredients are completely natural. A blend of Aloe Vera, T- Tree oil, Jojoba, Ginger, Organic Coconut, Egyptian Basil, Egyptian Fennel, Olive Oil and a few other ancient conditioning ingredients.

I love this oil and it is growing my hair and edges like weeds!!! I have only been using it for about 4 weeks and I can see a noticeable difference! The picture below is after a week of using the oil. The top is before and the bottom is after. I will continue to order this oil…I don’t EVER want to run out of it!!

  1. Hi
I have been using this oil for about a month now and my scalp is incredibly itchy immediately after using the oil each time…are there any side effects that you have experienced?

      • Yes, via a length check shirt after the itching was really bad. I also told her that it has begun to shed in the areas where the itching is extreme. It could just be a bad reaction that I am having to one of the ingredients. Other than the itching and shedding issue the oil does everything it claims to do.
